Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including cleaning dining tables and equipment.
- Assist with daily tasks including restocking, inventory, and general café upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and supplies.
- Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with food service operations in a café or retail setting is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Ability to lift, push/pull, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge is required in both written and spoken English.
- Previous barista experience or coffee experience is highly preferred.
- Interest in coffee, food service, or hospitality operations.
- Food handler certification is a plus.
