Code Black has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, organised and passionate account manager to join our team and we’d love to hear from you.

We are looking for a self-directed, efficient and super-friendly account manager to work with us and our great customers to develop and build outstanding coffee experiences. Code Black is committed to collaborating with specialty coffee café owners and baristas to help them achieve excellence and we achieve this by providing not only out-of-this-world coffee but also training opportunities at Code Black, the latest in equipment innovations and reliable expert support.

Code Black believes that fostering long-term relationships within the industry helps drive excellence and a commitment to quality and we are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to build relationships with our valued customers. Code Black is highly respected and renowned as a leader within the speciality coffee industry and this position will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to spread their wings and grow in a challenging and supportive environment where the limitations on what they can achieve are endless.

The Account Manager will be responsible for building relationships with new customers as well as maintaining existing relationships by providing support, motivation and professional advice. Working closely with our Sales and Customer Service team, the right candidate will need to have a can-do attitude, the drive to succeed and the ability to completely geek-out over speciality coffee and to inspire others whilst doing so. At its core this full-time position is focused on customer retention and growth and is pivotal to assisting Code Black’s ongoing dedication to excellence


To be considered for the positon the right candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Great verbal and written communication skills: you’re clear, polite, concise and able to get your message across no matter what
  • Passion, passion, passion: you absolutely love coffee and can’t imagine being in any other industry
  • Balance of automony and team work: you’re confident in a largely self-directed role but also love getting down and kicking some goals with the team
  • Problem solving: you’re not afraid to think outside the box to achieve the best outcome for your customer
  • Great attitude and personal presentation: you’re comfortable in your style and personality and would be proud to represent Code Black Coffee
  • Strong coffee and industry knowledge: you are constantly striving to learn more and at the same time inspire others around you to as well
